The Team

The Team TomI'm Tom De Cubber, the person behind and a Joomla fan since 2012. With a professional background in web programming, web server administration and data security gathered over more than 15 years, I am now dedicating part of my spare time to document and share my knowledge on Joomla for everybody interested in this CMS.

My Joomla journey started with a search for a system which would make my life easier as a webmaster, because I was already building websites since 2010. I found a couple of CMS-es and after trying a couple of them (Joomla, WordPress, Drupal), I found Joomla the most logic one to use. Ever since, I operate all my websites on Joomla (starting with Joomla 2.5.6) and I constantly try to find new and better ways to make administration of my Joomla sites easier for me.

On the other hand, my web server administration time in one of my previous companies showed me the importance of security of a site and my subsequent data security experience restarted my drive to look for possibilities to install web sites with lot of possibilities but as secure as possible.

Trying to combine both drivers, I started this website. I hope you enjoy the articles and the videos and of course all your constructive feedback on the site, the articles and Joomla is welcome!
